LED's

These are the small bulbs with the round base.  I didn't keep a picture of the bulb.
 


These are the small bulbs with the flat base, pictured below.


 
 
These bulbs were completely different than the other 2.  See the picture below.





All the bulbs we've switched out so far are much brighter than the originals.  Plus they don't put off any heat & are much less expensive to run.
We're looking for new LED fixtures for the fluorescent tube lights.  If we just change the bulbs there's some stuff we have to do to bypass the ballast.  We aren't electricians so don't even want to start that.  I've found fixtures online that are basically the same size and work just like the ones we have (8 fixtures),  The new fixtures run about $42 each but only have 2 wires to connect.  We can figure that out.  Will post pictures when that's done.  We'll start with 1 & go from there.

  2. Yes, yes we do. As a matter of fact our son is an electrician. Too bad he doesn't live closer.
