Removed the dinette....easy breezy.

Today was the day...I was dying to get rid of the dinette.  I thought about it every night.  It only took about an hour.

We checked under the seats.  Only storage & the carpet ran under it.

The central vac parts were stored under one side.  They are now being stored in the drawer under the refrigerator...for now.

We took the table down 1st then removed the top from the legs.
Only 6 screws per leg.  They came out very easy.
You can see where they were.  We'll fluff them up before we have the carpets cleaned.  That won't be done until we get the sofa out.  We're putting in a couple recliners.

The cushions were kept on with Velcro.  Took the plywood off the seats then unscrewed the rest from the walls & floor.  A lot of screws...dozens!
Looks pretty good!  I think we'll have screens made for the inside of the outside compartments.  There are locks on these.  You could access them from outside as well as inside.
We put this little outside table here for now.  I think we'll put a small desk under the small window so George can set up his desktop computer.

That's it for now.  We are in the process of changing all the bulbs to LED.  Will let you know how this goes.
